This past week was spent traveling too and through Newfoundland, Canada. The weather condition was cold and wet throughout the week which made hiking a bit of a challenge and the bird totals lower then desired. Newfoundland is a beautiful destination for the world traveler to get into the forest and experience a wealth of diversity in east coast Canada. I will highly recommend this province for anyone who has never been there and suggest to plan more then a weeks stay. Here are the bird species totals and photo gallery to follow. There were 68 species recorded over the week and a wealth of beautiful places to add to my ever growing traveling list.
